Season 3 – Everfrost Era

Boomers

These are the boomers, and there are 60 levels.

Each first kill gives Katrina fragments. Anyone in the alliance who kills it counts as a first kill while you are in a rally, so leave auto-join on when you go to sleep. They are weak and you do not need great power because it is done in a rally.

With the boomers and leopards, you can win +400 Katrina fragments, which is ideal for the Hall of Glory.

You must keep killing as many boomers as possible every day for the reward and the resource needed to upgrade S3 buildings. They also give you snowflakes to throw at the snowman. 100 snowflakes make one snowball.

During the first week, there are 30 boomers that give the reward. Later, they will give double each, and you will only be able to do 15 daily boomers. This saves time and fuel.

Leopards

The other photo shows the substitutes for normal zombies and the hated tiles: the famous Leopards.

For these, you do need to increase your resistance in the laboratory, and there are also 60 levels, but they can only be attacked by a single tank at a time.

To be able to take on a level 60 leopard, you will need the laboratory at approximately level 28, not counting other ways to gain resistance.

The Bio Lab provides virus resistance. It is required for Leopards and missions. For Boomers, it is better to have a teammate build it, and then you just join the rally. At level 28, it was enough for me to build Leopards to level 60 as a free-to-play player.

Important: if you have the necessary resistance for a Leopard, but the recommended attack power is greater than or equal to yours, you will almost certainly lose. That is why you need a strong formation for high levels. Or help. Because you cannot use both formations to attack a Leopard.

It is preferable to kill a leopard than the third Yeti of the day.

Resources

Crystal

You only get the crystal by killing zombies, yetis, and leopards, for free.

Flower

The flower comes from your storage facilities, equivalent to S2 tiles. They are only produced this way. You also get them from the first kills of the yetis, which we will see later.

The crystal is the easiest resource. The flower is produced in good quantities with Greenhouses at level 25+.

S3 Buildings

Greenhouses

Greenhouses are used to produce flowers. There are four, or you can get an additional one if you buy the Season Pass. At level 25, it is free, and it is enough for good production.

Bio Lab

The Bio Lab provides virus resistance. It is required for Leopards and missions. For Boomers, it is better to have a teammate build it, and then you just join the rally. At level 28, it was enough for me to build Leopards to level 60 as a free-to-play player.

Important: if you have the necessary resistance for a Leopard, but the recommended attack power is greater than or equal to yours, you will almost certainly lose. That is why you need a strong formation for high levels. Or help. Because you cannot use both formations to attack a Leopard.

Other Buildings

The other buildings are basically the same as in Season 2. They grant damage, attack, and defense to troops. The last two can be obtained additionally if you choose the COMBAT specialization and reach levels 25 and 45.

All buildings function the same as in Season 2 for the GW.

Mastery Hall (Support)

Your points will automatically reset for Season 3.

If you select this category, this is what you will get. Additionally, you can have:

  • more alliance support
  • a research buff equal to the construction buff
  • reduced research time
  • doubled alliance donations (for those who do not like donating to technology 👀)
  • among other benefits

Level 50 is somewhat useless in my opinion. However, if several players use it simultaneously, it can be more interesting in battle.

In my opinion, if I recommended this category in Season 2, now even more so if you do not spend a lot of money. Although I have known players who spend a lot of money and start with this one, since it greatly helps with resources.

If you did not reach level 30 in Season 2, you probably will not reach level 50 in this one, but it does not matter. For now, focus on the highest level you can manage.

Mastery Hall (Combat)

In this category, you will have two additional S3 buildings at levels 25 and 45.

The new feature is that your troops will arrive at your HQ immediately after each attack per day.

It also offers:

  • march speed
  • attack speed in the GW
  • at level 50, a very good option for the capital battle if several strong players have it: sending the rally quickly, but only once a week

Whichever option you choose is good as long as you adapt it to your playstyle.

Also, you will earn a specialization change ticket as a reward for completing missions. You can easily obtain this ticket within a maximum of 6 weeks.

Yetis

Yetis are a great source of resources, but only the daily amount.

From Monday to Saturday, there are 2 daily Yetis that give rewards for the first kill of the day. On Sundays, there are 5.

Killing more than 2, or more than 5 on Sundays, is a waste of troops and fuel, as they give almost no reward. It is preferable to kill a leopard than the third Yeti of the day.

Important Yeti Mechanics

  • You cannot attack two Yetis at the same time, as an attack lasts approximately 2.5 seconds, and the system does not allow two rallies to attack simultaneously.
  • Up to 20 rallies can start, but whoever arrives first and has enough power will defeat it. If they do not have enough power, the Yeti will be weakened, and the second rally to arrive will have the opportunity to defeat it.
  • The entire server can attack Yetis.
  • Many create rules that if a Yeti already has a marked rally, because a signal appears above the Yeti and it stops moving, in addition to the red circle, another alliance cannot attack it. This is because sometimes it is difficult to get level 200 Yetis.

Rally Advice

  • For rallies, formation 1 is always important, since you need a lot of power to kill it, plus the +200 Yetis, which have +600M power. If you send your weak formation, you only affect your teammates and waste time and fuel.
  • Yetis can easily send 500 soldiers to the hospital. They can also kill +50 soldiers. Therefore, the stronger the rally, the fewer wounded and dead.

HQ Danger

  • Yetis can attack your HQ even if you have a shield, and it directly affects your durability. This means it does not matter if you have heroes on the wall. This will burn you and can cause you to explode.
  • When a Yeti is about to attack your HQ, only you will receive a warning; the alliance will not know.
  • One way to avoid the attack is by starting and cancelling a rally, which will divert it.

Additional Warnings

  • Do not start a rally if your capacity is 7 seats or less.
  • Do not waste time or resources attacking Yetis below level 180. It is not worth it.
  • If possible, only attack level 190 and 200, and on Sundays, level 330 or 350 if you can find them.

These two screenshots are proof of why it is not worth wasting time or fuel killing more yetis than the daily quota. When I say “to avoid wasting time,” it is because it is better to do a 4-minute rally instead of a 1-minute one, since that way you can see if someone sends a 10M formation and remove them from the rally.

1-minute rallies are good when there are many players online and when the yeti has less health so another alliance cannot steal it.

Furthermore, yetis are usually hundreds of kilometers away, and a rally can take up to 4 minutes to arrive.

The return trip is also slow; if a yeti kills you, you will come back like a rocket 🚀

I should clarify that many times it will be necessary to kill 3 or more yetis a day to help teammates, especially the stronger ones. It is good to plan your schedule so that most of you can kill them at the same time, and the stronger ones will not waste much fuel or time helping us. But do not send a 20M formation to help 😒

Glacier Kong (Sunday Yeti Event)

Sundays are special Yeti events; these are called Glacier Kong, and the strongest is level 350.

Even if there is a 500M formation in the rally, you will probably need two rallies to kill it.

These appear randomly when any Yeti is killed, and whoever discovers them will get an extra reward.

Again, these are quite strong. It is not worth the effort to kill more than your quota of 5 on Sundays.

On Sundays, during the Kong event, a list of all Yetis on the map will appear in order of appearance. When a Kong appears, the list will change. Just click on it to go to its location.

This event gives:

  • general rewards for the entire server
  • individual rewards for damage dealt that day

The server rewards are pretty good.

Level Swap Event

This is the event for swapping experience levels and skill levels.

If you swap heroes of different tiers (A -> S), only experience levels are exchanged.

If you swap heroes of the same tier (S -> S or A -> A), both experience levels and skills are exchanged.

If the hero you want to receive the swap has fewer stars than the other, they will only receive the skill levels allowed by their star rating. You cannot transfer a level 20 skill to a one-star hero who only allows level 5 skills.

The entire experience level is exchanged.

You can see Katrina (5 stars) and Harleyna (3 stars). Below, you will see the current difference in skills and experience levels.

This shows how each hero’s experience level will be:

  • Katrina 150 -> 136

It also shows the skills you want to exchange:

  • the first column for each hero indicates the current value
  • the second column indicates the value after the exchange

Observe two selected skills and see how they will be affected in the right-hand column for each hero.

  • Harleyna will be at level 15 because she has 3 stars
  • Katrina will be at level 1

Harleyna’s third skill, level 5, is transferred to Katrina, also at level 5 because she has 5 stars.

In the lower left corner, observe how the number of books increases according to the number of levels Harleyna receives. When you are ready, click Complete.

Last four images

Katrina goes from level 150 to 136, and her maximum skills are reduced to levels 1 and 5, but she retains her 5 stars. You can now use the books you recycled in it again.

Ticket Details

This “event” lasts throughout Season 3, and you get three free swap tickets with each of the three weekly hero passes.

You can also get three additional tickets if you buy all three passes. The weapon pass does not give tickets.

Another important point is to avoid trading with heroes that are not 5 stars, because you will lose the books for the remaining levels that were not traded.

For example, Sophia is level 20, but since Licia can only have 10 levels, the books for the other 10 levels will be lost, and you will have to use the ones you have earned.

This event is not a big deal, but it does help you recover your books.

Ice Pit (IP)

In my opinion, this is the most innovative and interesting event, although the ultimate goal, which is the fish, is somewhat pointless.

It starts the third week and is always from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (APO).

There are three levels:

  • 6 IP level 1
  • 3 IP level 2
  • 1 IP level 3

Each level is stronger, does not consume fuel, but sends troops to the hospital and kills.

Schedule

  • Level 1 opens on Mondays
  • Level 2 opens on Wednesdays
  • Level 3 opens on Fridays

You must participate in the victory to receive the rewards, which are good, but only for those who win the Ice Pit based on damage.

Whether you deal 10k or 10M damage, the reward is the same.

Fish

Level 1 IPs have the same fish. Levels 2 and 3 differ by having one orange-level fish.

Fishing on an IP in your alliance increases the probability of getting better fish.

The owner of the IP will be the one who deals the most damage in the winning alliance and receives additional rewards. They can also send a red envelope when the requirement is met.

Hooks are earned by defeating the Titan, in Vivian’s daily mission, by paying, and in some other ways.

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the IP of the respective level available that day must be conquered.

Cross-Server Features

The interesting thing about this event is that, while it is active, you can go to any server in the S3 wargroup to steal an IP reward.

You can also destroy HQs located in the blue zone. You cannot destroy them if they are in the snow. Shields do not work in the blue zone either.

You must use an advanced teleport to get there.

If your alliance wins the IP address, you receive the aforementioned reward.

Obviously, enemies can come and steal your IPs or destroy your HQ located in the blue zone. Being in the blue zone doubles the damage.

Fish Collection Notes

The fish are not very useful. Having them all does not give a significant reward or buff; it is just something to share.

There are 65 fish, and you can give them away or ask anyone in the S3 wargroup for them.

You will know when someone gives them to you.

In the fifth image, you will see that some have a number in the upper right corner; that is the amount you have. When you have x1, it means you can give them away.

The chests you open do not have much of a reward.

Frozen Rescue

(Perhaps the most important event due to its rewards)

It takes place on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

The schedule varies depending on snowfall; it can occur two or three times a day.

Do not miss it.

You have 10 chances to rescue the animals. These do not carry over to the next day.

Small ice sculpture

This contains the following animals and rewards:

The fox 🦊
  • 200 orange books
  • if you rescue it 10 times, that would be 2,000 books
The boar 🐗
  • depending on your needs, you will receive 2,000 diamonds or 300 fuel if you rescue it 10 times

These rewards are the least attractive to most players, and the sculptures are the least thawed. But only ask the alliance or the server for help if you want to unfreeze them.

Large ice sculpture

The best rewards, this contains the following animals and rewards:

The deer 🦌
  • 300 badges
  • which would be 3k if you rescue it 10 times
The mammoth 🦣(“Manny”)

2 exclusive equipment fragments or 20 if you rescue it 10 times

Thawing Mechanics

The sculptures have a 60-minute unfreezing time. Each time a drone arrives, 12 minutes are deducted.

When the event starts, the sculptures will appear in 6 frozen cities that change each time it begins.

You can tell which ones they are because they freeze and a thermometer appears next to their name 🌡️. Additionally, your screen will freeze.

In the eighth photo, you can see the frozen screen and the sculptures and animals already unfrozen.

When the event time runs out, the animals and sculptures disappear.

Important Warning

Be careful when clicking on a chat notification to help unfreeze an animal or when an animal’s location is posted, because you might accidentally claim the reward.

Therefore, only click on the animals you need. Do not click just to see what they give you. Do that after you have used up all 10 attempts.

Snowman Mania

This is a daily event with 20 levels and rewards that are not impressive, but are useful.

You will have five daily missions. These are very simple, like the one in the first image, an Arena battle, using 200 diamonds, among others.

If you do not complete and claim the rewards each day, you will lose them after the reset.

Stealing Snowballs

You can go to your alliance partner’s snowman if they have an ongoing mission (second image), but if you click to claim their reward, you will be stealing one snowball from the amount that mission gives (third image).

For example, in image 1, the reward is 6 snowballs. If someone claims it before me, they will take one, and I will be left with 5.

Players can agree on whether or not it is okay to steal them.

Ways to Get Snowballs

There are several ways to get snowballs:

  • clearing allies’ HQs a maximum of five times a day (fourth image)
  • have your allies clear your HQ 5 times a day (fifth image)
  • kill 2 Yetis daily or 5 on Sundays
  • among other things

You can use the Snowflakes you get from killing monsters to upgrade the snowman. 100 Snowflakes = 1 snowball.

As a very active F2P player, you can reach level 20 in less than two months.

Other Aspects of Season 3

  • The season lasts 70 days plus calculation and waiting time.
  • It has the same 4-state war group.
  • The final ranking is similar to Season 2.
  • The rewards vary little in Season 3.
  • The Glory War is similar to Season 2 and begins in the fourth week.
  • There are Wartime Investment, Tasks, and Season Journey. The latter includes a Mastery Exchange Ticket as a gift. You obtain it very quickly during the season.
  • Special trucks and special reward missions will begin simultaneously when there are 43… 🤔🤔🤔 days left. The difference is that they will have snowballs.
  • Regarding the three heroes, they will have the same appearance sequence in the shop.
  • The unique aspect is that to use their fourth ability, they will need the Season 2 hero of the same faction: Licia and Bella.
  • All three are DPS, and Licia is the strongest.
  • The three weapons are similar in their attributes.
  • There will be a trading shop at the end, and being an active F2P player, you will be able to earn the best rewards without any problem.
  • Something to keep in mind is that some people experience eye strain from prolonged gameplay. This is due to the constant brightness of the white screen, especially after a long day at work. So, it is a good idea to take precautions if you like to play at night, with 100% brightness and the room lights off.

General Summary of Season 3

In summary, it is a pretty entertaining season with daily activities. Although everything can be done in 2 hours of daily gameplay.

This is another season for teamwork and strong players.

And you should start dedicating time and resources to a second formation because, ideally, you want to have two strong formations by the end of Season 4.
