Isabella is the purple Wings of Dawn defender whose talent adds 10% to the defence of every Wings of Dawn hero you own, which makes her four stars one of the cheapest permanent upgrades a Wings of Dawn account can buy.
- Class: DEF
- Faction: Wings of Dawn (Shooter troops)
- Rarity: purple (A)
- Arrived: the base roster
- In one line: a purple defender with twin guns whose talent buffs the whole faction’s defence

What Isabella does in Last Z
Isabella fights with a pistol in each hand. Enhanced Bullets raises the damage of her normal attacks. Dual Gun Strike fires both guns at once for heavy damage with a chance to immobilize the target, and her stars make that more likely and then longer. Defense Expert, her Global Effect, adds a flat amount to her own defence that grows with every skill level.
Her talent is why she’s on a Wings of Dawn player’s list. Faction Defense raises the defence of every Wings of Dawn hero by 10%. It unlocks at hero level 50 with four stars, and once it’s on it applies to Laura, Scarlett, Amelia and the rest whether Isabella is deployed or not.
She’s the mirror of Fiona. Fiona’s talent buffs the faction’s attack, Isabella’s buffs its defence, and a Wings of Dawn account wants both running.
Isabella’s skills and stats
| Skill | Type | What it does | What each star adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Enhanced Bullets | Normal Attack Boost | Raises the damage factor of her normal attacks. Grows with skill level. | +45, +45, +45, then +60 and +105 to the damage factor |
| Dual Gun Strike | Active Skill | Fires both guns at once for heavy damage, with a chance to immobilize. | +90 damage factor, +90 damage factor, a higher immobilize chance, +200 damage factor, then immobilize duration +1 second |
| Defense Expert | Global Effect | Adds a flat amount to her own defence. Grows with skill level. | Hero defence +50, +50, +100, +200, then +300 |
| Faction Defense | Exclusive Talent | Increases the hero DEF of the Wings of Dawn faction by 10%. | The talent itself; no star steps |
Her attack, defence and troop size climb with her level, stars, skill levels and gear, so the live figures are on her hero card in your own game. As a purple hero she starts below the orange roster and caps lower.
The upgrade order that gets the most out of her:
- Level her to 50 and get her to four stars. Faction Defense needs both.
- Defense Expert next, if she holds a slot in a second formation.
- Dual Gun Strike, then Enhanced Bullets. Her own output, for when she fights.
Is Isabella worth it for F2P?
Yes, and early. She comes through Hero Recruitment Tickets at the Club, purple fragments arrive fast enough that four stars is a target a free player hits long before four stars on any orange hero, and behind that milestone sits a permanent 10% defence for every Wings of Dawn hero.
What she isn’t is a first-formation defender once Laura is starred. Her job is the talent, and a slot in a second formation where a defender who can pin the enemy is useful.
How to get Isabella fragments
Isabella comes through Hero Recruitment Tickets at the Club, and the sources that track her also list the Warrior Battle Pass and the shop’s special offers. Her stars take purple fragments, which the game hands out far more freely than orange ones. Four stars is the milestone, because that’s where Faction Defense unlocks.
Best build and gear for Isabella
Hero gear fills four slots: Gun, Helmet, Armor and Boots. Her talent doesn’t read her gear, so cores belong to the orange heroes. If she fills a slot in a second formation, hand-me-down gear is the right investment, and Armor and Helmet suit a defender with a pin better than the Gun.
Isabella’s best formation and faction pairing
Her talent works from the barracks, so formation is about whether she has a slot. In a Wings of Dawn second formation she’s the defender, and she still counts toward Scarlett’s per-hero bonus if Scarlett is in that squad. The faction triangle applies to any squad she joins: Wings of Dawn beats Blood Rose, Blood Rose beats Guard of Order, and Guard of Order beats Wings of Dawn.
If she marches, keep the squad Wings of Dawn:
- Fiona, her purple opposite number, with the matching +10% faction attack talent.
- Christina for a second formation that attacks cities.
- Any orange Wings of Dawn hero your first formation can spare.
Isabella vs the alternatives at the same role
| Hero | Faction | Rarity | What she’s for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Isabella | Wings of Dawn | purple | +10% defence to every Wings of Dawn hero, and an immobilize |
| Fiona | Wings of Dawn | purple | +10% attack to every Wings of Dawn hero |
| Angelina | Wings of Dawn | blue | +5% defence to every Wings of Dawn hero |
| Laura | Wings of Dawn | orange | The first-formation defender, with the radar skill |
Laura is the defender who holds your first formation; Isabella is the one whose talent makes Laura and everyone else in the faction tougher. Angelina is the half-strength version of Isabella’s talent on a blue hero, the stopgap until she’s starred, and the two stack. Miranda and Elizabeth carry the same +10% defence talent for Blood Rose and Guard of Order.
Where she lands against the whole roster is on the tier list. For what to do with her in your first day, the beginner’s progression guide covers it.
