Angelina in Last Z: Survival Shooter

Angelina in Last Z: the blue hero whose talent gives every Wings of Dawn hero +5% defence, why four stars is the whole plan, and what to skip.

Angelina is the blue Wings of Dawn medic whose talent adds 5% to the defence of every Wings of Dawn hero you own, which makes her worth four stars in your first week and not much after.

  • Class: SUP
  • Faction: Wings of Dawn (Shooter troops)
  • Rarity: blue (B)
  • Arrived: the base roster
  • In one line: the early faction-defence talent, until Isabella takes over

What Angelina does in Last Z

Angelina is a nurse with a syringe gun. Toxin Injection raises the damage of her normal attacks, and Serum Grenade is her active, a swing that damages everything in a fan-shaped area ahead of her. Both are blue-grade skills with blue-grade star steps.

Her third skill is a base-economy Global Effect. Her talent is the reason she matters: Faction Defense raises the defence of every Wings of Dawn hero by 5%. It unlocks at level 50 with four stars, and blue fragments arrive so fast that a new account can have it running within days.

So she’s a stepping stone with a real step on it. The 5% is permanent and faction-wide, Isabella’s purple version of the same talent is 10%, and the two stack: an account that stars both carries +15% defence on every Wings of Dawn hero.

Is Angelina worth it for F2P?

Yes, early, and only for the talent. She comes from the Club’s standard recruitment, which every account runs from the start, and blue fragments are the cheapest in the game. Four stars on Angelina is a milestone a free player passes almost without trying, and the reward is a permanent +5% defence for the faction.

Past that, spend nothing on her. Her skills are outclassed by every purple and orange hero in the faction.

Angelina’s skills and stats

SkillTypeWhat it doesWhat each star adds
Toxin InjectionNormal Attack BoostRaises the damage factor of her normal attacks. Grows with skill level.+30, +30, +30, then +40 and +70 to the damage factor
Serum GrenadeActive SkillSwings her weapon, damaging enemies in a fan-shaped area ahead. The damage factor climbs with skill level.+60, +60, +60, +80, then +140 to the damage factor
Third skillGlobal EffectA base-economy bonus that grows with skill level.Small percentage steps per star
Faction DefenseExclusive TalentIncreases the hero DEF of the Wings of Dawn faction by 5%.The talent itself; no star steps

Her attack, defence and troop size climb with her level, stars, skill levels and gear, so the live figures are on her hero card in your own game. As a blue hero she starts well below the purple and orange roster and caps lowest of all.

The upgrade order that gets the most out of her:

  1. Level her to 50 and get her to four stars. The talent is the whole plan.
  2. Nothing else. Skill books and cores belong to heroes who fight.

Best build and gear for Angelina

Hero gear fills four slots: Gun, Helmet, Armor and Boots. Give Angelina none. Her talent doesn’t read her gear, and every piece she’d take is one a fighting hero doesn’t get.

How to get Angelina fragments

Angelina comes through Hero Recruitment Tickets at the Club, the standard pull. Her stars take blue fragments, which the game pays out faster than any other kind, through recruitment, daily missions and event rewards. Four stars is the milestone, because that’s where Faction Defense unlocks, and it’s a target measured in days rather than weeks.

Angelina’s best formation and faction pairing

Her talent works from the barracks, and that’s where she belongs once your roster has five better Wings of Dawn heroes. Until then she fills a slot, and a Wings of Dawn squad still earns Scarlett’s per-hero bonus with her in it. The faction triangle applies to any squad she joins: Wings of Dawn beats Blood Rose, Blood Rose beats Guard of Order, and Guard of Order beats Wings of Dawn.

If she marches, keep the squad Wings of Dawn:

  • Natalie, her blue opposite number, with the matching +5% faction attack talent.
  • Fiona and Isabella, the purple pair whose talents stack on top of the blue ones.

Angelina vs the alternatives at the same role

HeroFactionRarityWhat she’s for
AngelinaWings of Dawnblue+5% defence to every Wings of Dawn hero
IsabellaWings of Dawnpurple+10% defence to every Wings of Dawn hero, and an immobilize
NatalieWings of Dawnblue+5% attack to every Wings of Dawn hero, plus food gathering
WilliamGuard of OrderblueThe same +5% defence talent for Guard of Order

Angelina and Isabella aren’t either-or. Both talents apply, so the account that stars both has +15% defence on the faction, and Angelina’s half arrives first because her fragments are cheaper. Audrey and William carry the same +5% defence talent for Blood Rose and Guard of Order.

Where she lands against the whole roster is on the tier list. For what to do with her in your first day, the beginner’s progression guide covers it.
