Licia is the Season 3 Blood Rose hero whose talent only works beside Bella, and when the two march together the troop’s Assaulters take 7.5% less damage, extending to every unit with extra capacity at five stars.
- Class: DPS
- Faction: Blood Rose (Assaulter troops)
- Rarity: orange (S)
- Arrived: Season 3, Dinosaur Origin
- In one line: Bella’s partner, with a shadow strike and a marching skill that adds troop capacity

What Licia does in Last Z
Licia fights from the shadows. Her normal-attack skill raises the damage of every hit she lands. Her active skill turns her into a shadow that appears behind the enemy and lands three claw strikes, and her stars add more strikes. Her marching skill adds flat troop capacity to the squad she leads and buffs her own attack and defence through its stars, and like the other Season 3 marching skills it only works while she’s deployed.
Her talent is the one that decides her slot. Feline Veil reads: when deployed with Bella, Assaulter units in the troop gain a 7.5% damage resistance bonus, and at five stars the bonus extends to all unit types and grants an extra 7.5% troop capacity. On her own she’s a strong Season 3 attacker. Next to Bella she’s a defensive bonus for the whole troop that nothing else in the faction provides.
So the question with Licia isn’t whether she’s good. It’s whether Bella is in the squad.
Licia’s best formation and faction pairing
Licia is built for one place: a Blood Rose squad with Bella in it. That’s where Feline Veil fires, where Bella’s own talent pays its +10% troop HP at five Blood Rose heroes, and where Oliveira’s per-hero bonus reaches its full value. The faction triangle applies as always: Wings of Dawn beats Blood Rose, Blood Rose beats Guard of Order, and Guard of Order beats Wings of Dawn.
The squad she’s built for:
- Bella, without whom her talent does nothing.
- Oliveira for the per-hero squad bonus and the capacity at five.
- Katrina as the defender with attack skills of her own.
- Selena for the Assaulter damage buff, or Yu Chan for raw damage.
If Bella isn’t in your roster yet, Licia is still an orange attacker with a marching capacity bonus, and she holds a slot on those terms. Her talent waits for her partner.
Licia’s skills and stats
| Skill | Type | What it does | What each star adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fierce Claw Slash | Normal Attack Boost | Raises the damage factor of her normal attacks, to 2010 at level 30. | +120, +120, +120, then +150 and +300 to the damage factor |
| Shadow Raid | Active Skill | Transforms into a shadow and appears behind the enemy to launch three claw attacks. The damage factor climbs with skill level. | +200 damage factor, claw strikes +1, +200 damage factor, more claw strikes, then +400 damage factor |
| Inseparable Shadow | Active upon marching | Adds troop capacity to the squad she leads, up to +90 at level 30. Applies only while she’s deployed. | Hero ATK +2% and DEF +2%, +3% and +3%, +5% and +5%, +5% and +5%, then +5% and +5% |
| Feline Veil | Exclusive Talent | When deployed with Bella, Assaulter units in the troop gain a 7.5% damage resistance bonus. At five stars, the bonus extends to all unit types and grants an extra 7.5% troop capacity. | The talent itself; the five-star step is written into it |
Her attack, defence and troop size climb with her level, stars, skill levels and gear, so the live figures are on her hero card in your own game. The Season 3 heroes start above the launch roster’s orange heroes on their skill numbers, which shows in the 2010 on her normal attacks against the 1500 the launch heroes cap at.
The upgrade order that gets the most out of her:
- Level her to 30 and put skill books into Inseparable Shadow. Capacity for the squad she leads, and its stars are flat attack and defence for her.
- Level 50 and four stars for Feline Veil, the moment Bella is in the squad.
- Five stars when the fragments allow. That’s where the resistance covers every unit and the extra capacity arrives.
- Shadow Raid, then Fierce Claw Slash. Her own damage.
Best build and gear for Licia
Hero gear fills four slots: Gun, Helmet, Armor and Boots. The Gun boosts attack, the Helmet attack and defence, Armor defence and troop HP, and Boots a mix of all three. Gear levels up with enhancement alloys and promotes with power cores.
Licia is an attacker whose marching skill buffs her own attack and defence, so the Gun comes first, the Helmet second, then Boots, Armor last. If she’s in your first formation beside Bella she deserves cores; the whole pairing depends on both of them standing.
How to get Licia fragments
Licia is the first of Season 3’s three heroes, and the sources that track her agree on the route: her own battle pass when the season reaches your state, and the shop’s special offers after that. She isn’t a standard recruitment pull.
Once she’s unlocked, the orange fragments the game pays out on a schedule are what you’ll feed her, and she wants five of them, since her talent’s best step sits at the fifth star. Most orange fragments are universal and work on any S hero; a few are tied to one hero, so check the item before you count on it.
- Daily Tasks. 150 points on the Daily Tasks page pays one orange fragment.
- Full Preparedness. 18 medals trade for two orange fragments.
- Gold Trucks. Sending and looting them is the steady source most players overlook.
- Weekly gifts. Six orange fragments a week, claimed, not earned.
- The Z Points store sells S fragments five at a time for diamonds. The diamond guide covers whether that’s a good use of them.
- VIP 10 adds daily orange fragments, a route for spenders rather than a plan.
Is Licia worth it for F2P?
Only as a pair. Her talent needs Bella, Bella is a Season 2 pass hero, and Licia herself comes through a Season 3 pass. A free player who has neither is looking at two passes to make one talent work, and that’s a plan for a mature account, not a new one.
For an account that already has Bella and a full Blood Rose squad, Licia is the upgrade that turns the five-hero bonuses into a defensive wall: Bella’s troop HP, Oliveira’s attack and defence, and Licia’s resistance stacked on the same troop.
Licia vs the alternatives at the same role
| Hero | Faction | Rarity | What she’s for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Licia | Blood Rose | orange | Damage resistance for the troop, with Bella |
| Liliana | Wings of Dawn | orange | The same talent for Wings of Dawn, with Alma |
| Dodomeki | Guard of Order | orange | The same talent for Guard of Order, with Harleyna |
The three Season 3 heroes are one design in three factions: a shadow-fighter whose talent needs her Season 2 partner in the squad, paying damage resistance for the faction’s troop type and widening at five stars. Which one you want is which faction you run. For Blood Rose that’s Licia and Bella.
Where she lands against the whole roster is on the tier list. For what to do with her in your first day, the beginner’s progression guide covers it.
