Bella is the Season 2 Blood Rose hero whose talent gives the whole troop +10% HP when all five heroes are Blood Rose, and whose presence unlocks Licia’s damage resistance, which makes her the glue of a full Blood Rose squad.
- Class: DEF
- Faction: Blood Rose (Assaulter troops)
- Rarity: orange (S)
- Arrived: Season 2, Everfrost
- In one line: the Blood Rose troop-HP talent, and the hero Licia’s talent depends on

What Bella does in Last Z
Bella rides into the fight. Doomsoul Piercer raises the damage of her normal attacks. Wrath of Justice gallops her over the enemy, crushing them for area damage, and her stars add more stomps to the charge. Solar Fury raises the health of the Assaulters in the troop she leads, and it’s the one skill on her card that only works while she’s marching.
Her talent, Perpetual Halo, is the reason she’s the last piece of a full Blood Rose line-up rather than a spare. Deploying five Blood Rose heroes boosts the troop’s HP by 10%. It only switches on at five, which is also when Oliveira’s talent pays its capacity bonus, so a squad that’s four Blood Rose heroes and one outsider is leaving both on the table.
And she has a partner. Licia’s talent, Feline Veil, reads “when deployed with Bella”: the Assaulters in the troop gain 7.5% damage resistance, and at five stars that extends to every unit type with 7.5% troop capacity on top. Without Bella in the squad, that talent does nothing.
Bella’s best formation and faction pairing
Bella is built for one formation: five Blood Rose heroes, with Licia beside her. That’s where her own talent fires, where Licia’s fires, and where Oliveira’s per-hero bonus reaches its full +25% attack and defence plus the capacity bonus. The faction triangle applies as always: Wings of Dawn beats Blood Rose, Blood Rose beats Guard of Order, and Guard of Order beats Wings of Dawn.
The squad she’s built for:
- Oliveira for the per-hero squad bonus.
- Licia, whose talent needs Bella in the squad to work at all.
- Katrina as the defender with attack skills of her own, or Yu Chan for raw damage.
- Selena or Sophia for the fifth slot, with the faction’s Assaulter damage buff or its construction skill levelled anyway.
If you can’t field five Blood Rose heroes yet, Bella’s talent isn’t paying, and she’s an ordinary orange defender until you can.
Bella’s skills and stats
| Skill | Type | Unlocks at | What it does | What each star adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Doomsoul Piercer | Normal Attack Boost | hero level 1 | Increases normal attacks’ damage factor to 1500 at level 30. | +90, +90, +90, then +120 and +210 to the damage factor |
| Wrath of Justice | Active Skill | hero level 20 | Gallops over enemies, crushing them and dealing area damage. The damage factor climbs with skill level. | +150 damage factor, number of stomps +1, +150 damage factor, number of stomps +2, then +300 damage factor |
| Solar Fury | Active upon marching | hero level 30 | Raises the health of the Assaulters in the troop she leads, up to 15% at level 30. Applies only while she’s deployed. | Assaulter damage +2%, +3%, +5%, +5%, then +10% |
| Perpetual Halo | Exclusive Talent | hero level 50 and 4 stars | Deploying 5 Blood Rose heroes boosts troop HP by 10%. | The talent itself; no star steps |
Her attack, defence and troop size climb with her level, stars, skill levels and gear, so the live figures are on her hero card in your own game. As an orange hero she starts well above a purple one and caps higher.
The upgrade order that gets the most out of her:
- Level her to 30 and put skill books into Solar Fury. Assaulter HP for the troop she leads, and its stars are flat Assaulter damage on top.
- Level 50 and four stars for Perpetual Halo. The whole reason to field her in a full Blood Rose squad.
- Wrath of Justice, then Doomsoul Piercer. Her own damage.
Best build and gear for Bella
Hero gear fills four slots: Gun, Helmet, Armor and Boots. Armor boosts defence and troop HP, the Helmet attack and defence, the Gun attack, and Boots a mix of all three. Gear levels up with enhancement alloys and promotes with power cores.
Bella’s class is defender and her two support effects are about troop HP, so Armor comes first, the Helmet second for the defence it carries, then the Gun for her charge, and Boots last. If she’s in your first formation she deserves cores; she’s an orange hero holding a slot where her talent and Licia’s both depend on her.
How to get Bella fragments
Bella is a season hero, the first of Season 2’s three, and the sources that track her agree on the route: the Warrior Battle Pass and the special offers that rotate through the shop. She isn’t a standard recruitment pull.
Once she’s unlocked, the orange fragments the game pays out on a schedule are what you’ll feed her. Most of them are universal and work on any S hero; a few are tied to one hero, so check the item before you count on it.
- Daily Tasks. 150 points on the Daily Tasks page pays one orange fragment.
- Full Preparedness. 18 medals trade for two orange fragments.
- Gold Trucks. Sending and looting them is the steady source most players overlook.
- Weekly gifts. Six orange fragments a week, claimed, not earned.
- The Z Points store sells S fragments five at a time for diamonds. The diamond guide covers whether that’s a good use of them.
- VIP 10 adds daily orange fragments, a route for spenders rather than a plan.
Four stars is the milestone, because that’s where Perpetual Halo unlocks.
Is Bella worth it for F2P?
Only once the squad around her exists. Her talent needs five Blood Rose heroes to pay anything, her partner Licia is another season hero, and she comes through a battle pass rather than the free pool. For a free player still assembling the faction, she’s a hero to plan for when her pass rotates round, not one to chase.
For an account that already fields Oliveira, Katrina, Selena and Sophia, she’s the fifth piece that turns a strong squad into a full one: +10% troop HP from her, the capacity bonus from Oliveira, and Licia’s resistance if Licia is there too.
Bella vs the alternatives at the same role
| Hero | Faction | Rarity | What she’s for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bella | Blood Rose | orange | +10% troop HP at five Blood Rose heroes, and Licia’s partner |
| Alma | Wings of Dawn | orange | The same talent for Wings of Dawn, and Liliana’s partner |
| Harleyna | Guard of Order | orange | The same talent for Guard of Order |
The three Season 2 heroes are one design in three factions: a troop-HP talent that fires at five matching heroes, and for two of them a Season 3 partner whose own talent needs them in the squad. Which one you want is which faction you run. For Blood Rose that’s Bella.
Where she lands against the whole roster is on the tier list. For what to do with her in your first day, the beginner’s progression guide covers it.
