Natalie in Last Z: Survival Shooter

Natalie in Last Z: the food-gathering skill that works from the barracks, the +5% Wings of Dawn attack talent, and what not to spend on her.

Natalie is a blue Wings of Dawn hero with two jobs: her third skill makes your food gathering faster and bigger for the whole account, and her talent adds 5% to the attack of every Wings of Dawn hero.

  • Class: SUP
  • Faction: Wings of Dawn (Shooter troops)
  • Rarity: blue (B)
  • Arrived: the base roster
  • In one line: the food-gathering specialist, with the early faction-attack talent

What Natalie does in Last Z

Natalie fights with a crossbow. Enhanced Crossbow raises the damage of her normal attacks, and Crossbow Shooting is her active, a charged volley of high-intensity bolts. Both are blue-grade skills you’ll outgrow in your first week.

Gathering Master: Food is the skill you keep. It’s a Global Effect that raises food gathering speed by 45% and food production by 30% at the cap, account-wide, and its stars add more of both. Every farm run and every farm in the base pays out more with her levelled, and she doesn’t have to leave the barracks for it.

Her talent, Faction Attack, raises the attack of every Wings of Dawn hero by 5%. It unlocks at level 50 with four stars, blue fragments make that a quick target, and it stacks with Fiona’s purple +10%.

Enhanced CrossbowNormal Attack BoostRaises the damage factor of her normal attacks. Grows with skill level.+30, +30, +30, then +40 and +70 to the damage factor
Crossbow ShootingActive SkillCharges and fires multiple high-intensity crossbow bolts. The damage factor climbs with skill level.+60, +60, +60, +80, then +140 to the damage factor
Gathering Master: FoodGlobal EffectFood gathering speed +45% and food production +30%, account-wide.Food gathering speed +3%, food production +15%, food gathering speed +6%, resource production +20%, then gathering speed +15%
Faction AttackExclusive TalentIncreases the hero ATK of the Wings of Dawn faction by 5%.The talent itself; no star steps

Her attack, defence and troop size climb with her level, stars, skill levels and gear, so the live figures are on her hero card in your own game. As a blue hero she starts well below the purple and orange roster and caps lowest of all.

The upgrade order that gets the most out of her:

  1. Level her to 30 and put skill books into Gathering Master: Food.
  2. Four stars and level 50 for Faction Attack. Cheap, permanent, faction-wide.
  3. Five stars when they come. The last gathering step is the biggest.
  4. Nothing on her combat skills.

Is Natalie worth it for F2P?

Yes, as a base hero. Food feeds every troop you train and every march you send, and a gathering bonus that runs from the barracks is the kind of thing a free player feels every day. The faction talent is a small bonus on top, and the whole package costs blue fragments and skill books rather than anything scarce. Never field her in a formation that matters, and never give her cores.

How to get Natalie fragments

Natalie comes through Hero Recruitment Tickets at the Club, the standard pull. Her stars take blue fragments, which the game pays out faster than any other kind. Four stars is the milestone for the talent; five is the last gathering step.

Best build and gear for Natalie

Hero gear fills four slots: Gun, Helmet, Armor and Boots. Give Natalie none. Neither her gathering skill nor her talent reads her gear.

Natalie’s best formation and faction pairing

Both of her useful effects run from the barracks, so she doesn’t need a formation. If she’s filling a slot while your roster is thin, keep that squad Wings of Dawn for Scarlett’s per-hero bonus, and remember the faction triangle: Wings of Dawn beats Blood Rose, Blood Rose beats Guard of Order, and Guard of Order beats Wings of Dawn.

If she marches, keep the squad Wings of Dawn:

  • Angelina, her blue opposite number, with the matching +5% faction defence talent.
  • Fiona and Isabella, the purple pair whose talents stack on top.

Natalie vs the alternatives at the same role

HeroFactionRarityWhat she’s for
NatalieWings of DawnblueFood gathering, and +5% attack to the faction
GiselleBlood RoseblueThe same design for wood
AthenaGuard of OrderblueThe same design for electricity
FionaWings of Dawnpurple+10% attack to the faction

The three blue gathering heroes are one design in three factions and three resources, and an account wants all three levelled whatever faction it runs, because the gathering bonuses don’t care which faction the hero belongs to. Fiona is the purple version of Natalie’s talent, and the two stack.

Where she lands against the whole roster is on the tier list. For what to do with her in your first day, the beginner’s progression guide covers it.
