Alliance Duel in Last Z: Survival Shooter

Alliance Duel in Last Z: the six days and their win points, the base points for every action, the chest ladder, and what to save for each day.

Alliance Duel runs Monday to Saturday every week, one themed day at a time, and the alliance that wins more of the weighted days takes the duel: Saturday’s Enemy Buster is worth 4 win points on its own, the four middle days 2 each, and Monday 1.

  • Scope: alliance versus alliance; your alliance needs 20 or more members to be matched
  • When: six days, Monday to Saturday, with Sunday off
  • Reset: each day rolls over at 00:00 Apocalypse Time, the game’s own clock
  • What wins: the most points on each day, then the most win points across the week
  • The one rule that matters: spend each thing on its own day, and nothing on the wrong one

What Alliance Duel is and when it runs

Every week the game pairs your alliance with another and sets you both the same six tasks, one a day. Each day has a theme, and everything you do that fits the theme earns points for you and for your alliance. At the end of the day the alliance with more points wins it and banks that day’s win points. The week is decided on win points, which is why the day list in the game shows them beside each match.

Sunday is the rest day. Nothing scores, and that’s the day you stock up for the week ahead.

Two things about who can score. Only the alliance you start the week in gets your points; if you move alliance mid-duel, nothing you do counts for the new one that Apocalypse day, and you forfeit that day’s ranking and win rewards. And the player with the most personal points on a day becomes that day’s MVP when it settles.

Saturday is different from the rest. Enemy Buster opens a free teleport to your opponent’s server for the day, so the two alliances can reach each other’s bases. It’s the only day where what you do to the other alliance scores directly, and the game pays it accordingly: defeating a unit from your duel opponent is worth exactly double a unit from anyone else, and each unit you lose is worth half of a general kill.

How scoring works in Alliance Duel

The points are per action, and the game lists the rate for every action on the day’s screen. The figures below are the base rates. Alliance Recognition research raises them for your whole account: Event Expert doubles every rate, Event King triples it, so a 5,000-point golden wrench on a fresh account is a 15,000-point wrench once Event King is done. If your alliance takes the duel seriously, that research tree is the first thing to put badges into, because it multiplies everything that follows.

Read the table for shape as much as for numbers. The orange items are the whole game: one orange bounty on Tuesday is 60,000 points, the same as 1,500 minutes of construction speedup, and one orange trade on Wednesday is 75,000. Badges are worth 40 each on Wednesday and nothing on any other day. A research speedup on Wednesday is 30 a minute; the same minute on Friday is 40, because Friday counts every speedup type. That last one is the detail most players miss: Friday is the day to burn the speedups you couldn’t place earlier in the week.

Chinatsu’s third skill, Samurai Spirit, adds 35% to your Alliance Duel points at level 30, account-wide, and her stars add more. It stacks with the research. If your alliance fights the duel every week, Chinatsu is the one hero you level for this event alone, and she does it from the barracks.

What to do on each day of Alliance Duel

The week is a plan, not six separate days, because nearly everything that scores on one day can be saved from the others.

  1. Sunday: stock up. Queue nothing you’d rather finish on a scoring day. Save radar events for Monday, speedups for Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, badges for Wednesday, fragments and skill books for Thursday, and check the alliance chat for the week’s plan.
  2. Monday, Mod Vehicle Boost. Spend golden wrenches and open every vehicle component box you’ve been holding. Clear the radar events you saved from Sunday. If you’re on the map anyway, creep and boomer kills count. Keep the blueprints if the wrench supply is short; the wrench is where the points are.
  3. Tuesday, Shelter Upgrade. Start the biggest building you have and put construction speedups into it. Refresh bounty missions until orange ones appear and run them. At the refugee centre, recruit the orange refugee the moment one shows instead of rerolling past it.
  4. Wednesday, Age of Science. Research day. Every badge you spent on the tree this week should have waited for today; the same badge is worth 40 points now and 0 on Monday. Send your orange intercity trade trucks today too.
  5. Thursday, Hero Progression. Feed fragments, skill books and power cores. If you’ve been saving an orange equipment promotion, this is its day, at 300,000 points for one piece.
  6. Friday, Holistic Growth. Any speedup counts, so this is where the leftover research and training speedups go. Train or promote units, and clear the second batch of radar events you saved from Thursday.
  7. Saturday, Enemy Buster. Fight your opponent, not the map. A kill on their units is worth double anyone else’s, and coordinate the teleport with your alliance so you don’t arrive alone. Orange bounties and trades still score if you have them left.

The saving habit is the whole skill. The same account, the same items, scores a different week depending only on which day each one was spent.

Alliance Duel rewards and what to spend them on

Each day pays you personally through a ladder of nine chests, opened as your own points cross each threshold. The first three are open to everyone; Alliance Recognition research opens chests 4 to 6 and then 7 to 9, so the research pays twice, once in the rate and once in the ladder.

ChestPoints (Mon to Fri)Points (Saturday)What’s in it
120,00017,000Badges and resource chests
280,00069,000Badges and resource chests
3300,000240,000Badges, diamonds, purple fragments, purple skill books, enhancement alloy, supply boxes
4550,000290,000Badges and resource chests
5840,000450,000Badges and resource chests
61,500,000980,000Badges, diamonds, purple fragments, purple skill books, alloy, supply boxes
72,200,0001,100,000Badges and resource chests
83,000,0001,600,000Badges, an orange fragment, orange skill books, alloy, supply boxes
96,000,0003,200,000Badges, an orange fragment, orange skill books, alloy, supply boxes

Saturday’s chests add Valor Medals on every rung, which no other day pays.

The alliance is paid separately, and the duel runs in leagues (Silver, Gold and Diamond), with the league setting the size of every alliance reward. Winning a day pays every member a Daily Victory Reward: 120 badges and 5 purple fragments in Silver, 140 and 6 in Gold, 160 and 8 in Diamond, plus 20 of each resource chest. The week’s result pays a Weekly Tier Reward to everyone whether you won or lost, and the gap is the reason to care: a Silver victory is 200 diamonds, 4 orange fragments and 500 badges, a Silver defeat 100 diamonds, 2 orange fragments and 200 badges; in Diamond the win is 1,000 diamonds, 6 orange fragments and 1,500 badges against 500, 5 and 1,000 for the loss. On top of that, your rank inside your own alliance pays a Daily Ranking Reward (first place in Silver is 200 badges, 4 lots of 100 diamonds and 50,000 alloy, down to 16,000 alloy and 2 of each chest for ranks 11 to 30) and a League Tally Reward at the end of the week. Being the member who carries a day is worth real badges and diamonds, not only the MVP tag.

What to do with them, in order. Badges go back into Alliance Recognition until Event Expert is done, because it doubles next week’s points. The orange fragments from chests 8 and 9 are universal and go to whichever hero you’re starring next; the tier list is the order. Purple skill books go to the Global Effect skills that run from the barracks (Katrina’s exploration, Sophia’s construction, Chinatsu’s duel points) before anything that only works in a fight. The diamonds are a small weekly income and the diamond guide covers what to hold them for.

The 30 points per diamond on pack purchases is a rate for spenders. For a free player it’s a reason never to buy for the duel: a single orange bounty on Tuesday out-scores 2,000 diamonds of packs.

Mistakes that cost points in Alliance Duel

  • Spending badges on a Monday. They score on Wednesday and only Wednesday. The research still gets done; the points don’t.
  • Finishing a building on Sunday because the timer was nearly up. Leave it. Tuesday pays 40 a minute for the speedup you’d have used, and the building is done either way.
  • Rerolling past an orange refugee. It’s 40,000 points on Tuesday. Take it.
  • Mixing speedup types on the wrong day. Research speedups on Tuesday score nothing. Friday is the day for whatever’s left over.
  • Switching alliance mid-week. Your points stop counting for anyone until the next day, and you lose that day’s rewards.
  • Fighting the map on Saturday. Creep kills don’t score on Enemy Buster. Units of your duel opponent are worth double, anyone else’s units half of that, and your own losses half again.
  • Chasing chest 9 with purchases. Six million points in a day is a target for a researched, stocked account, not a reason to open the shop.
  • Arriving alone through the Saturday teleport. The return trip drops you somewhere inside your alliance hive, and there’s a wait before you can jump again. Go with the group.

Is Alliance Duel worth it for a free player?

Yes, and it’s one of the better deals in the game for someone who doesn’t spend, because every point comes from things you were going to do anyway. You were going to build, research, star heroes and train troops. The duel pays you a second time for doing them on the right day, and the first three chests on every day need no research to open.

The honest version of the ceiling: a free account without Alliance Recognition research will sit in the lower chests most days, and chests 7 to 9 are a researched player’s territory. Two moves change that quicker than anything else. First, badges into Event Expert, which doubles everything. Second, Chinatsu to level 30, which adds 35% on top from the barracks. Between them a free player is scoring at well over double the base rate for the same week’s work, and that’s the gap between the bottom of the chest ladder and the middle of it.

The duel also runs on top of Full Preparedness, which twice a day asks for the same kinds of action. The windows that start at 08:00 and 20:00 Apocalypse Time are when a well-timed speedup scores in both at once, and planning the day’s spending around them costs nothing.

If your alliance doesn’t care about the duel, none of this changes what you build; it only changes when. Save the orange items for their day anyway. The chests arrive whether or not the alliance wins.

The duel sits beside the other weekly alliance events in the events schedule, and the beginner’s progression guide covers what to build before any of this matters.
