Chinatsu in Last Z: Survival Shooter

Chinatsu in Last Z: the skill that adds 35% to your Alliance Duel points, her sword skills, who to pair her with, and the F2P verdict.

Chinatsu is the hero whose third skill adds 35% to your Alliance Duel points, account-wide, which makes her a must-level for anyone whose alliance cares about the weekly duel, before she’s ever swung her sword in a fight.

  • Class: DPS
  • Faction: Guard of Order (Rider troops)
  • Rarity: orange (S)
  • Arrived: the base roster
  • In one line: an attacker whose account skill is Alliance Duel points

Skill numbers on this page are the level 30 values, which is the cap, read from the game in the Dinosaur Origin season (Season 4 where Desert counts, Season 3 where it doesn’t).

What Chinatsu does in Last Z

Chinatsu fights with a sword. Iaido Slash raises the damage of her normal attacks to a damage factor of 1500 at the cap. Spiral Sword Energy is her active: a swift swing that unleashes an energy storm at damage factor 2400, and her stars widen it and then set the whirlwind moving forward through the enemy. Her talent, Potential Unleashed, buffs her own attack, defence and troop capacity.

Samurai Spirit is why she’s on this list. It’s a Global Effect that raises your Alliance Duel points by 35% at the cap, and every star adds more. Alliance Duel is the weekly event where an alliance scores on everything its members do, and a 35% multiplier on your own contribution is the single biggest lever one hero gives you in it.

So she’s the alliance player’s hero. Her sword skills are fine, and in a Guard of Order squad she earns her slot as an attacker, but the reason to take her to 30 is the duel.

Is Chinatsu worth it for F2P?

Yes, if your alliance runs the duel seriously, and most do. Samurai Spirit unlocks at hero level 30, needs only levels and skill books, and runs from the barracks. A free player who contributes to Alliance Duel every week gets 35% more credit for the same effort, and the stars push it higher still.

Getting her is reachable too: the sources that track her agree she comes through Prime Recruitment Tickets at the Club, the same premium pull Katrina and Sophia come from, rather than a battle pass. If your alliance doesn’t care about the duel, she’s an ordinary orange attacker and there are better uses for the books.

Her attack, defence and troop size climb with her level, stars, skill levels and gear, so the live figures are on her hero card in your own game. As an orange hero she starts well above a purple one and caps higher.

The upgrade order that gets the most out of her:

  1. Level her to 30. Samurai Spirit switches on there.
  2. Skill books into Samurai Spirit. Every level is more duel points for the same week’s work.
  3. Stars, as fragments allow. Each one adds to the duel bonus, and the fifth is the biggest step.
  4. Level 50 and four stars for Potential Unleashed, if she fights for you.
  5. Spiral Sword Energy, then Iaido Slash. Her own damage.

Best build and gear for Chinatsu

Hero gear fills four slots: Gun, Helmet, Armor and Boots. The Gun boosts attack, the Helmet attack and defence, Armor defence and troop HP, and Boots a mix of all three. Gear levels up with enhancement alloys and promotes with power cores.

If she’s your duel skill and nothing more, give her no gear; Samurai Spirit doesn’t read her stats. If she fights in a Guard of Order squad, build her as the attacker she is: Gun first, Helmet second, then Boots, Armor last.

How to get Chinatsu fragments

Chinatsu comes through Prime Recruitment Tickets at the Club, and the sources that track her also list special offers in the shop. She isn’t a season pass hero.

Once she’s unlocked, the orange fragments the game pays out on a schedule are what you’ll feed her, and her stars matter more than most because each one raises the duel bonus. Most orange fragments are universal and work on any S hero; a few are tied to one hero, so check the item before you count on it.

  • Daily Tasks. 150 points on the Daily Tasks page pays one orange fragment.
  • Full Preparedness. 18 medals trade for two orange fragments.
  • Gold Trucks. Sending and looting them is the steady source most players overlook.
  • Weekly gifts. Six orange fragments a week, claimed, not earned.
  • The Z Points store sells S fragments five at a time for diamonds. The diamond guide covers whether that’s a good use of them.
  • VIP 10 adds daily orange fragments, a route for spenders rather than a plan.

Chinatsu’s best formation and faction pairing

A formation carries five heroes and their troops, and Guard of Order heroes field Riders. The faction’s own bonuses are the reason to keep the squad Guard of Order: Evelyn’s talent gives the troop +5% attack and defence for every Guard of Order hero deployed and +10% capacity at five, Sakura’s gives every Rider unit +10% damage whether or not she’s deployed, and Harleyna’s gives +10% troop HP at five. The faction triangle applies: Guard of Order beats Wings of Dawn, Wings of Dawn beats Blood Rose, and Blood Rose beats Guard of Order, so this squad is at its best against Wings of Dawn and at a disadvantage against Blood Rose.

Who to put beside her, keeping the squad Guard of Order:

  • Evelyn first. Her talent is the squad bonus itself.
  • Mia as the defender, with an account skill of her own.
  • Sakura for the Rider damage every troop in the squad collects.
  • Amber for raw damage if you have her, or Harleyna for the troop HP at five.

Nobody else carries a duel-points skill, so the real comparison is with the other account skills on the launch roster: each faction’s base heroes carry one. Which ones you level is a question of what your account does every week, and for an alliance that fights the duel, Chinatsu’s is the one that converts most directly into standing.

Where she lands against the whole roster is on the tier list. For what to do with her in your first day, the beginner’s progression guide covers it.
