Sakura’s talent gives every Rider unit you own +10% damage whether she’s on the field or not, which makes her the first Guard of Order hero to star for any account that trains Riders.
- Class: DPS
- Faction: Guard of Order (Rider troops)
- Rarity: orange (S)
- Arrived: Season 1, as a season hero
- In one line: an attacker on a motorbike whose talent buffs every Rider, deployed or not
Skill numbers on this page are the level 30 values, which is the cap.

What Sakura does in Last Z
Sakura fights from the saddle. Mech Modification raises the damage of her normal attacks. Motorcycle Frenzy is her active: four vehicle-mounted missiles that bombard the enemy, and her stars add more missiles. Blazing Fast raises the defence of the Riders in the troop she leads, and it’s the one skill on her card that only works while she’s marching.
The reason to own her is the talent. Potential Unleashed raises the damage of all Rider units by 10%, and the text is explicit: regardless of whether Sakura is deployed. It’s the Guard of Order copy of Selena’s Assaulter talent and Nyx’s Shooter one, and for a Rider account it’s the same permanent 10% on every march.
So she’s either the attacker who leads your Rider squad with extra defence for the troop, or the account skill in the barracks that makes every Rider hit harder. Most players end up with both.
Sakura’s best formation and faction pairing
A formation carries five heroes and their troops, and Guard of Order heroes field Riders. Sakura’s talent already pays from the barracks; what she adds by marching is her own damage, the missiles, and Blazing Fast’s Rider defence for the troop she leads.
The rest of the faction is the reason to keep the squad Guard of Order. Evelyn’s talent gives the troop +5% attack and defence for every Guard of Order hero deployed and +10% capacity at five, and Harleyna’s gives +10% troop HP at five. The faction triangle applies: Guard of Order beats Wings of Dawn, Wings of Dawn beats Blood Rose, and Blood Rose beats Guard of Order.
Who to put beside her, keeping the squad Guard of Order:
- Evelyn first, for the squad bonus.
- Mia as the defender.
- Chinatsu or Amber for damage.
- Harleyna for the fifth slot if you have her, for the troop HP at five.
Sakura’s skills and stats
| Skill | Type | Unlocks at | What it does | What each star adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mech Modification | Normal Attack Boost | hero level 1 | Increases normal attacks’ damage factor to 1500 at level 30. | +90, +90, +90, then +120 and +210 to the damage factor |
| Motorcycle Frenzy | Active Skill | hero level 20 | Launches 4 vehicle-mounted missiles to bombard the enemy, at damage factor 2400 at level 30. | +150 damage factor, missiles +1, +150 damage factor, missiles +2, then +300 damage factor |
| Blazing Fast | Active upon marching | hero level 30 | Raises the defence of the Riders in the troop she leads. The bonus climbs with skill level and applies only while she’s deployed. | Rider ATK +5%, +5%, +10%, +10%, then +15% |
| Potential Unleashed | Exclusive Talent | hero level 50 and 4 stars | Regardless of whether Sakura is deployed, all Rider units’ damage increases by 10%. | The talent itself; no star steps |
Her attack, defence and troop size climb with her level, stars, skill levels and gear, so the live figures are on her hero card in your own game. As an orange hero she starts well above a purple one and caps higher.
The upgrade order that gets the most out of her:
- Level her to 50 and get her to four stars. The talent is the prize, and it needs both.
- Blazing Fast next, if she leads a squad. Its stars are flat Rider attack for every troop she marches with.
- Motorcycle Frenzy, then Mech Modification. Her own damage.
How to get Sakura fragments
Sakura is a season hero, and the sources that track her agree she comes through the Warrior Battle Pass and the shop’s rotating offers rather than the free recruitment pool.
Once she’s unlocked, the orange fragments the game pays out on a schedule are what you’ll feed her, and she needs more than most because her talent waits at four stars. Most orange fragments are universal and work on any S hero; a few are tied to one hero, so check the item before you count on it.
- Daily Tasks. 150 points on the Daily Tasks page pays one orange fragment.
- Full Preparedness. 18 medals trade for two orange fragments.
- Gold Trucks. Sending and looting them is the steady source most players overlook.
- Weekly gifts. Six orange fragments a week, claimed, not earned.
- The Z Points store sells S fragments five at a time for diamonds. The diamond guide covers whether that’s a good use of them.
- VIP 10 adds daily orange fragments, a route for spenders rather than a plan.
Best build and gear for Sakura
Hero gear fills four slots: Gun, Helmet, Armor and Boots. The Gun boosts attack, the Helmet attack and defence, Armor defence and troop HP, and Boots a mix of all three. Gear levels up with enhancement alloys and promotes with power cores.
If she’s in the barracks for the talent, give her none. If she fights, build her as the attacker she is: Gun first, Helmet second, then Boots, Armor last. Her missiles do the crowd work; her own stats decide how hard the rest of her hits.
Is Sakura worth it for F2P?
Yes, with the two caveats every season hero carries. The talent sits behind hero level 50 and four stars, which is a real fragment bill, and she comes through a battle pass rather than the free pool. For a Guard of Order account, both are worth paying: +10% Rider damage applies to every march, rally and defence you’ll ever run, and nothing else in the faction gives it to you. If her pass isn’t round yet, build the squad without her and let her talent be the upgrade when she arrives.
Sakura vs the alternatives at the same role
| Hero | Faction | Rarity | What she’s for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sakura | Guard of Order | orange | +10% damage to every Rider unit, deployed or not |
| Selena | Blood Rose | orange | The same talent for Assaulter units |
| Nyx | Wings of Dawn | orange | The same talent for Shooter units |
One design in three factions: an attacker whose talent buffs her faction’s troop type across the whole account. Which one you want is which troops you train, and for Riders that’s Sakura. Inside Guard of Order, Evelyn makes the squad stronger by standing in it; Sakura makes the Riders stronger by existing. Run both and the troop collects every bonus the faction has.
Where she lands against the whole roster is on the tier list. For what to do with her in your first day, the beginner’s progression guide covers it.
