Radar Events are the missions your Radar building drops on the map every eight hours: your Radar Intensity sets how many arrive and how many can stack, each completed one pays a chest, and the chest is what scores in the Alliance Duel, 5,000 points per radar event on Monday and Friday, so the whole trick is to complete them all week and claim them on the two days that pay.
- Scope: solo, from Headquarters level 3
- When: a new batch every eight hours, at 00:00, 08:00 and 16:00 Apocalypse Time
- The limit: your Radar Intensity sets a cap; at the cap the refresh stops and new missions are lost
- What scores: claiming a completed mission’s chest, 5,000 Alliance Duel points each on Mod Vehicle Boost (Monday) and Holistic Growth (Friday)
- The hero: Laura’s third skill adds 20 free radar events a day and 30% more EXP from every one
What Radar Events are and when they run
The Radar is a building, unlocked at Headquarters level 3, and its level is called Radar Intensity. Intensity decides two numbers: how many missions arrive each refresh and how many can be stored before the refresh stops. At the first levels it’s two missions a refresh with a stack of two; by Intensity 7 and up it’s eight a refresh, and the stack keeps climbing with each level, to 44 at Intensity 22 and 60 at the top. Intensity rises with the number of radar events you’ve completed, not with wood or food.
Three times a day, at 00:00, 08:00 and 16:00 Apocalypse Time, a fresh batch appears on the map around your base. Each one is a small job. The types the Radar sends:
| Mission | What it asks | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Rescue Survivors | Tap to recruit them | None |
| Resource Pickup | Tap to collect | None |
| Mining Task | Send troops to a deposit | None |
| Drone Parts | Collect | None |
| Unearth Treasure | A rare dig, from Intensity 13 | None |
| Help Allies | March to an ally’s base | 10 stamina |
| Kill Zombies | Attack a marked zombie | Stamina, by level |
| Kill Boomers | Join or start a rally | Stamina, by level |
The game gives two 50-stamina refills a day free, which covers the fighting missions on a normal day.
Laura changes the arithmetic. Her third skill, Hunter’s Gift, is a Global Effect from hero level 30: 20 free radar events a day on top of the Radar’s own, and 30% more EXP from each. Her stars add five more free missions at one star, ten more at four, and at five stars an extra exploration chest per completed mission, up to ten a day. She works from the barracks; she doesn’t need to march. Laura’s page covers the rest of her.
How scoring works in Radar Events
Radar Events don’t have a scoreboard of their own. They score through the Alliance Duel and the daily missions.
| Where it scores | What | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Alliance Duel, Monday (Mod Vehicle Boost) | Claim 1 completed radar event | 5,000 base |
| Alliance Duel, Friday (Holistic Growth) | Claim 1 completed radar event | 5,000 base |
| Daily missions | Complete 10 radar events, then 20 | 2 points, then 5 |
| Full Preparedness, Mod Vehicle Boost blocks | The boomer and zombie kills the missions send you on | By the target’s level |
The 5,000 is the base rate before Alliance Recognition research; Event Expert doubles it and Event King triples it, and a researched account reads its own panel in the twenty thousands per event. The point lands when you claim the chest, not when you finish the job, which is the whole opening: a mission completed on Sunday and claimed on Monday scores on Monday.
Two limits shape the week. Completed, unclaimed chests still count against the storage cap, so a full field of saved chests stops the next refresh. And at the cap the incoming batch is lost, not queued.
What to do with each refresh
- Clear the field every eight hours. Complete everything that arrives. On most days, claim it too; the EXP and items are the daily income.
- From Thursday’s last refresh, complete but don’t claim. Friday is Holistic Growth, and every chest you’re holding at the reset is 5,000 duel points the moment you claim it.
- Same from Sunday for Monday. Mod Vehicle Boost pays the same 5,000 a chest. Sunday is the duel’s rest day, so the whole day’s batches are savings.
- Watch the counter against the cap. At Intensity 22 that’s 44. If you’re at 36 with a refresh of 8 coming, you can take one more batch; if you’re at 44, the next batch is lost. Claim enough to leave room, even on a saving day.
- Claim after the reset, with the countdown done. The duel day starts at 00:00 Apocalypse Time and the panel takes a few minutes to switch; claim once the new day shows.
- Use Laura’s free events on the saving days. Her 20 don’t count against the Radar’s own stack, so they’re the way past the cap on a Sunday or Thursday.
- Spend stamina on the fighting missions on the days that score. Help Allies and the zombie and boomer missions cost stamina; save the refills for Monday and Friday.
Radar Events rewards and what to spend them on
Each mission pays a chest of hero EXP and items, with fuel among the common drops, and the exploration chests Laura adds at five stars pay on top. There’s no ranking and no ladder; the value is in the duel points and the daily EXP.
What to do with it. The duel points are the point: two days a week, a stored field of radar chests is a chest on the duel ladder on its own, and the Monday one is the day most players score least on. The hero EXP goes to the heroes you level, and the fuel pays the stamina-free missions’ only real cost, your marches. The Intensity itself is the compounding reward: every completed event moves you toward the next level, and the next level is more missions a refresh.
Mistakes that cost points in Radar Events
- Letting the field sit at the cap. The refresh stops and the next batch is gone. Clear or claim enough to keep room.
- Claiming on Sunday. Every chest claimed on the rest day is 5,000 duel points you had and gave away.
- Claiming before the day switches. The duel day is 00:00 Apocalypse Time, and the panel takes a few minutes; a chest claimed at 23:58 scores on the wrong day.
- Saving so hard the field fills. Completed chests count against the cap. Past it, you lose more than you save.
- Leaving Laura unleveled. Twenty free events a day, from the barracks, for level 30 and skill books.
- Spending the stamina refills on a Wednesday. The fighting missions cost stamina; the days that pay are Monday and Friday.
Are Radar Events worth it for a free player?
Yes, and they’re among the cheapest points in the game. Most missions cost nothing but a tap or a short march, the two free stamina refills cover the rest, and a stored field claimed on Monday and Friday is 5,000 duel points a chest before research. A free account with Laura at 30 and a Radar at Intensity 20 or so is holding forty-odd chests into each of those mornings, which is a duel chest on its own on the one day, Monday, most accounts struggle to score on.
The honest limit is the cap. The stack is the ceiling on how much you can save, and growing it means completing events every day, which is the habit anyway. Laura’s free twenty are the way past it; a free account that stars her is the one with the biggest Monday.
Radar Events sit in the events schedule as the eight-hourly rhythm under the Alliance Duel, and the beginner’s progression guide covers what to build before any of this matters.
